Pier Daniele La Rocca

born 1945 on the lake Garda (It). He was raised by his grandparents who were artists too. He gets in touch with music, painting and photography as a child. After classical studies he works as a journalist and photographer in Milan, later as a stage designer and movie director. He does several trips and study visits to Asia, Africa, the Arabic countries and various Mediterranean Islands. Since 1990 he dedicates himself mainly to painting. Today he lives and works in Bologna.
